A couple of weeks ago I was asked to call at a church next time I was passing to investigate loss of a phase, when I opened the mains cupboard I noticed the blue phase fuse was not quite home so shoved it back and all was well, told the churchwarden saying I had never come across that before

Yesterday had a call from a distressed lady saying her power was fluctuating, on and off, guess what the problem was, twice in one month, first instance in 45 years

Are they using the cupboard as a store room and knocking it out, if its a cut out fuse a lot of time the metal seal stops them moving

Yes in both cases, and the seals had a big loop on them
