unusual tap cartridge (not 1/2" BSP)

Has anyone come across tap cartridges which don't use 1/2 BSP

I have found an exact replacement for mine except for the main thread.

The original thread measures 19.7 and I can't figure out what this could be.. but the 1/2 BSP replacement isn't right.

Maybe it is new tap time, but its on a double vanity unit and I can't find similar which means two new taps

Can you post a photo, maybe someone will recognise it? That's the thing with taps, especially 1/4 turn where there must be at least 20 different types

But i would say the tap needs replacing, its being a tap too long.

You probably need a new tap but for £3 odd on ebay i would remove the rubber from the bottom of that cartridge and replace the triangular/cross shaped parts in this photo (or all parts)..They are on ebay.Check yours first and see if they look the same.

Beware, those parts shown above also come in a range of sizes and it's not always clear from the Ebay ads what the sizes actually are.

I thought there were only 2. Bath and basin/sink.
