I,am having my front door moved to the front of the house. se on drawings says the width for the hole is 896mm. the double glazing firm who are making the door say its not wide enough & should be 980mm.to conform to building regs ie have a opening of at least 800mm to handle here in sunny Scotland.tried other firms who say they will make it any width I like.this is a renovation & being similar to a new build so I wood have thought there was a standard width for the door.also the se forgot to mention the low profile sill so not asking him for help on this.any help you can give would be great. cheers gramps.
