I don't know what sort of door it is as we never bought it, other than it's a plastic door (just in case anyone asks what sort of door it is).

Basically the rubbery strip that runs around the framework has split/come away. I don't know how important it is but i suspect it'll be there for a reason. Probably a water seal reason is my guess?

So as it's goosed, can these things be replaced easy enough? If so, where do you buy them from & what is it you're looking for?
In addition - knowing my luck you'll get different types shapes & sizes, so how do i determine which one is suitable?

Yes should be an easy job.
Hopefully there is a fully intact bit somewhere that you can cut out with sharp knife to get the size and shape?

If you have a quick search on ebay for bubble gaskets the 1st few results show some of the sizes and shapes they come in. Work out which is closest to yours then order.

The new stuff will just push in but you will need to get the old stuff out first. You will probably need to cut it all out with a sharp blade.

Thanks.

I've just done a search http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_t...kw=upvc+door+bubble+gasket&_sacat=0&_from=R40 & what comes back looks like hieroglyphics.
What's with all these weird & wonderful shapes? Aren't i just looking for a straight bit of rubber?
