Hi,

I have a wooden exterior door, on the bottom of this door is a black rubber seal which keeps the draught out, but it is no longer doing that as it is worn and split on the left side of the door and needs replacing I don’t know what I need to get? It slides onto the bottom of the door, so it can be easily replaced. The door is a Fullex multi point locking door.

I have included pictures of it

**Please note that the above image shows where it slides on, but the rubber is split from age, so doesn’t show true shape of the seal***

It would be greatly appreciated if someone can tell me what is the correct or similar replacement part for this so I can buy it.

Thank you.

It looks like a seal being used in a wiper action rather than compression.

A new wiper seal wont last long.

The best long term solution would be to remove the external drip, cut off the bottom of the door and fit an open in threshold. (Exitex make a good range).

That way the draught seal will act as a compression seal and will last for years.
