I need to replace my stormguard rain threshold and drain bar at the base of the entrance uPVC door.

This appears to be locked in place by a black plastic trim/clip on either side of the uPVC base of the door frame. What is this part called and best way to pull out? Am I right assuming this is to be removed for replacing the bar? Can I find spare if I break it?

Circled in red and also an arrow pointing to assumed direction of removal.

Thats not coming out unless you take the door frame out again, the black ends are screwed upwards into the pvc during manufacture and you'll not remove them unless you butcher them and in any case you'd also need to source the correct black ends again as the are specific to the make of pvc profile
