I’ve got two different views on some work I’ve had done, and need some advice.

New Upvc windows installed, they have foam around edges to fill gaps. I’m due to get house rendered.

From the builder on site he says that the foam gap should be filled with a upvc trim/ sealed

From the upvc company they said with it getting rendered. The foam gap can be filled with new render and sealed

What’s the right approach?

My windows have flat trim to the external reveal and then rendered up to.Both methods can be used , my renderers preferred to install trim for a neater appearance.

Who is doing the rendering?
If it's an external company, ask them what they would do/prefer.
