I have a Munster Joinery window that I replaced the glass unit in......sadly I measured it incorrectly.

The glass is 2mm too thick and the window beads wont go back in.

Is there any way to find a slightly thinner window bead that will fit?

Or can I trim the beads to fit?

Any ideas would be appreciated.........I suspect I need a new glazing unit tho.

Can I only buy Munster Glazing beads direct from Munster?

Re measure and get the correct glass...take the hit. Learn from the mistake...

The hardest part is identifying the system which you've already done as munster joinery, problem you'll have is that beads are only made for certain thickness units and not in-between sizes like you have now, what thickness have you made it if it's 2mm too thick?

Simplest solution is a new unit, but if its internally beaded you could cut the gasket off the bead or change the gasket for thinner one on the frame unless it's co-extruded ?
