I have a Verbatim Secure Pro USB drive which is encrypted and requires password access. I usually plug this in and then there is a prompt to enter the password to open the files. Tonight I plugged it in and got a message that 'Windows Explorer requires a new version of Flash - do you wish to update?' When I click Yes, nothing happens of course. I use Edge with 64bit Win10 v1909 and I recently installed the Update Patch to uninstall Flash as I didn't think that I needed it. Can it be that the Verbatim drive actually needs it? I see that the Verbatim software is from 2014 and there is no option to update it. Is there a solution to this issue? Luckily I have two backups and so I'm OK but I'd quite like to sort out the original one.
