Usb internet dongle

Hi all

I have just purchased a usb internet dongle from T mobile as i do not have a landline at the moment , i have found one good area of my flat where the signal is pretty good 90-100% but it is not where i use my laptop , so i was wondering does anyone know if it is possible to connect the usb dongle to a wireless router and then recive the signal on my wi fi enabled laptop anywhere in the flat , any help and advise will be very welcome . You might be better with a USB extension cable. You can go up to 5m or more if you use

Although you should note that the Cat5 extender is only USB 1.1 so will be slower.
