I am adding some new circuits to an old house. The customer does not want any chasing so I am having to use trunking. I am using black to match the beams but am wondering if running it along the wall at floor level is less intrusive. Looking through the 17th edition I can not find anything that prevents this. Any suggestions?

Doesn't count as concealed, so as long as in your professional judgment the cable will be protected from damage it's fine.

Thanks 'ban-all-sheds'

The more I think about this it is not that secure, damage by furniture, feet, carpet laying all say don't do it. I guess beam level is more secure.

Pyro is unobtrusive - clip it to beams and paint to match and you'll hardly see it.
