Not sure if this should be in tools and materials. I've got a few openings to cut in cavity walls, but not able to get a clean cut right through imperial sized bricks, do the makes of machine vary in depth of cut, i'm using a petrol powered Makita one the guard prevents me cutting about the last 8mm of brick.
