Hi,

How exactly should I use a core bit? Am I right in guessing that it shouldn't be used with a drill's hammer action? If so, can I only use a core bit in an SDS drill if I can stop the SDS action?

Thanks :)

If it's a diamond core bit then drill the pilot hole with hammer action then turn the hammer OFF to use the core bit.

If its a TCT core bit then leave the hammer on.
