I need to rise my floor level about 170mm, but I don't want to use wood. So, I come up with an idea to use concrete blocks (400*215*100) plus bricks to rise the floor. Could anyone please give some advices whether this idea will work or may cause any problems?
The subfloor is a concrete floor, but it’s quite damp when weather is not good. The reason that I don’ want to use wood is because the tiles on wood would not be stabile when it was affected by damp and dry a few times. I had this problem in both kitchen and conservatory. Therefore, I would like to try other methods this time
