Hi in a situation were getting to solder a fitting on to copper pipes. Would most people see it as acceptable to put a polyplumb push fit fitting on to join the pipes. If it also in a place were it wont be on view.
Use a pipeslice or rotary cutter on your copper tube so you have no burrs or sharp edges.
With Polyplumb it's really important that you push the fitting fully home first time, it's an "O" ring first type of fitting, meaning it could blow off if not seated fully. Best way is to mark the insertion depth on the copper tube in pencil.
