I have a decorative plaster vent to attach to a newly plastered and matt painted wall. Could I attach it with silicon sealant or decorators caulk? Thanks. View media item 80180
It should stick with either, assuming it is light. Of the two I'd probably go for caulk as any splurges will be easy to clean and paint. Gripfill or similar grab adhesive would be better, though, but if you have a tube of caulk on the go why not?!
Hi, last August. as per the above, I attached the plaster vent with caulk. It's just fallen off but luckily didn't break. Not sure if the cold or the gales were a factor. Instead of caulk I could buy some Gripfill this time, but I also wondered if tile adhesive might be as good, I've already got some in. Any thoughts? Thanks.
