Using shower pump for shower & wash basin

I am currently planning on converting my study into a en-suite and was wondering if a shower pump could be used not only for the shower but also the wash basin (hot and cold)?

My hot water system is open vented with indirect hot water cylinder.

I wouldn't do this personally as turning on a tap on the basin would alter the flow, and thus the temperature, at the shower. But the main question is, why do you want to pump a wash basin?
