Using underground soil pipe internally

Got a few soil pipe runs to do internally for a renovation. From research the brown underground pipe is not UV stabilised therefore obviously shouldn't be used externally above ground.
Presumably though it can be used under floors (between joists) and boxed in. Cost wise it is cheaper so aside from black/grey having a boss on one end it would save money to use brown.

Anyone had any probs with BCOs signing off when using brown internally?

Shouldn't be an issue, as you said, it's not suitable for use where it'll be exposed to sunlight. Anywhere internally should be fine.

But! If run horizontally, I'd prefer a pipe that can be solvent welded and I can't recall if underground can be!

Yes it can On some awkward ones we cut the rubber collar off the fittings and glue the pipe in.
