We have the classic problem of new (to us ) sofa which we cannot fit into our front room.
In this room we have new uvpc sash style windows with the tilt option for cleaning. I know when they were fitted the 'sash's went in last after the frame was fitted so is it possible to remove the sliding glass sah parts to enable us to bring the sofa in that way.
If so how do I do it?
Please help as (as usual) I'm in the dog-house for 'ANOTHER cock-up' & I want to get back in her good books.
Thanks

Yes should be possible but different makes vary slightly.

Most common method is tilt the sash, Disconnect the travel restrictions from the sides (metal bars) they normally clip or are screwed in. Then tilt the window down to 90 degrees and it should come out
