Girl Friend has lost her V5c and hasn't sent the change of address, so doesn't have her tax reminder. So today the car is untaxed and she needs to tax it asap.

Am I right in thinking she completes a V62 and takes proof of insurance to the post office?

Does she also need proof of MOT or do they look on-line at the post office?

thanks in advance

Needs docs , V62, insurance and mot, print out showing valid mot might do but po wont look anything up for you.

Well as it happened they didn't need any of it. Seems rather easy to register a person's car to a new address with just the VIN and the post code of the old address. No ID needed or anything.
