Sounds like a blockage in the plate heat exchanger.

Why are you still posting as if you were a DIYer ?

You say that you are gas registered but you have not asked these trade questions in the CC as has previously been suggested to you. Nor does your profile indicate that you are gas registered.

Your apparent lack of experience is embarrassing to me on a public forum. The public expect that any gas engineer repairing their boilers will be both qualified and suitably experienced.

You can read all about it on the stickey topic listing near the top of the listing.

You have to email your registration details name address etc to [email protected]

Dont explain yourself carlton, each to their own.
Agile gets someone in to do roof flues didnt know the correct materials to use to wire up a boiler properly and by his own admission does(did) not trust his own soldering skills to use end feed fittings . But other than that he is perfect....

I have always done all my roofing work including the full woodwork and tiling on the pitched roof extention I built on a house that I once owned.

I use the appropriate fitting for the job. Best quality uses solder ring. Cheapos use end feed, cowboys use push fit !

If you say so, cant be ars@d finding the post , but good to see your not denying the other bits.

Other bits?

Boilers should be supplied with heat resisting cable according to the regs.

I agree that I was not aware that there was a supply of 0.5 mm HR flex if anyone was keen to use it.

Not sure the cable supplied on the Viessmann is HR though.

ok, back to topic..

any error codes?
is there a call for hot water?
could be set on warmstart and just "topping it up" as you use it rather than heating it properly...

flow sensor faulty?

and, no not a plumber, but have been reading my vaillant manual this week..

Where will they error codes be displayed and where would you set the warm start on this boiler ?????
