Hi,

We had a Vaillant EcoTec Plus 832 + Rads + Filters + Plumbcentre Thermostat all installed recently.

This issue we are having is that the burner never goes into high gear, it always stays super low (on the buner scale) and rads take 1 hour to get fully hot.

I have read that these boilers are meant to go into high burn in order to get the rads / house hot quickly and then nock it down to low burn in order to maintain desired temp. But Our boiler just doesn't do this.

Any ideas?

Cheers

You read wrong.

What is the heatloss of your property? These boilers have an "auto" mode which is pants. They need setting to the correct loading for the property, especially if the installation isn't up to scratch.

Hi,

Thanks. Yes you are correct this is it. I have just heard back from my Plumber and he also said that it needs taking off the Auto setting and that he will come around to adjust the settings to a manual KW setting based on the house / rads.

Thanks for your reply.
