I have a Vaillant EcoTec pro boiler, 3 years old. I had it serviced today for the first time and since the service, two radiators on the ground floor won’t heat up. Both furthest away from the boiler. One I’m told is a bypass radiator (?). All radiators upstairs (3 bed semi) are still working fine. I bled one and water came out immediately, there was no air/hissing. Is this just coincidence that they have stopped working or could the engineer have changed a setting during the service? Advice welcomed. I did call the engineer and he said the lack of heating has nothing to do with what he did with the boiler today. He said I should try and balance them. It’s just frustrating because they’ve worked perfectly for three years since the boiler was installed and suddenly stop working immediately after the service.
