I have a VCW GB242 EH or EB combi. I need to refill it but cannot find any filling loop. In the instructions it reckons I need to get in the installer. Surely there must be a way of filling this myself. Even if I need to hire in some kit??

Can anyone help please. It's cold in Newcastle!!

No - nothing like this there. I've filled boilers up before, but this is completely different. I've checked all the inlet outlet piping and can account for everything - no filling loop attached.

There are some nipple attachements on the flow and return CH side. Do you think maybe these might be for that?

Instructs say "Topping up should only be carried out by a service engineer or your installer".

I guess I better get the wallet out.

My Valliant is refilled via an L shaped key which is inserted into a valve underneath the boiler. It turna 1/4 turn and allows water in.
Obviously if you do not have the key then you are*******
Phone Valliant in the morning for advice as to whether your model is refilled this way :D

Only the turbomax plus has that key and internal loop.
Are you sure your vcw isn't connected to a header tank?
