Having the above boiler fitted soon. Smaller (dimensionally) than the current one and wondered if it is permissible and possible to purchase a vertical flue extension to go before the 45 degree connector in order to extend up approx 200mm and re-use the existing flue hole? Would be ideal not to have to make a new 100mm hole just underneath the existing one because the top of the new boiler will be slightly lower.
