Came home last night to find code F28 on the screen -appliance does not start.
I've tried the reset and it tries, but then come back with the fault, it did warm the tap water for a few seconds during the reset.
I've read the install manual which suggests a number of possible faults, gas meter/pressure detector defective, air in gas, flow pressure too low, fire protection tap has disengaged, gas valve, ignitor, etc

Is there anything i can check and eliminate as the fault before i call out someone?

Are there any 'typical' faulty components on the ecotech?

thanks

The only thing you can legally check is that the gas supply is adequate by turning on all the burners on your cooker.

Then you call the gas registered professional!
