• Hallo
• I have a Vaillant tubo max; I am having those problems F 22 and now F 62.
• The water pressure is always on 1.5 bars.
• I am looking for an engineer as well as help. I am in Liverpool, UK.
• Any help?

F22 is a common problem and is caused by many water related situations. Earlier versions of the PCB were oversensitive and this has been corrected on the latest ones.

Sometimes changing the two sensors with heat transfer paste will solve it. Othertimes the sensors need changing. vaillant engineers usually change the PCB as well as parts cost is not relevant and they know they have fixed it for good then.

F62 is very unusual and indicates a faulty gas valve or possibly a faulty PCB. That will need careful diagnosis.

Sooey on this forum is in Beetletown but you might find it better to call Vaillant for a fixed price repair at about £220 as it may need a new gas valve, sensors and PCB in which case the parts alone would be about £350.
