Vaillant problem

Hi,
I have had an ongoing problem with my vaillant combi boiler.
The gas engineer I have used has done his best and changed many parts, but I still have the same problem.
He is now talking to Vaillant, but I thought i'd ask here for any ideas?
On heating the boiler keeps cutting out and then refiring every few minutes.
He has changed the gas valve, two sensors and an ironisation lead??
He changed the board(pcb), but took it out again as the problem still occured.
I am now thoroughly fed up as the boiler is only six years old
Any help please?

Is the diverter valve moving into the CH mode? If not then it will just circulate through the plate hat exchanger reach temp very quickly cut out then do it all again.

If it is a diverter problem on an Ecotec change both diverter and pcb if an Ecomax just the diverter.

Ecotec diverters have a nasty habit of taking out the pcb and if not changed together at the same time one will damage the other

Hi and thanks for replies.
Yes all pipes are hot and heating seems good.
Just keeps 'cycling' (what Engineer said) only just started doing this.
I will note the diverter problem and show him.
Many thanks

This is not an engineer with diagnostic skills but a parts changer who just does not have a clue!

You should fed up with the boiler but with such a nupty! I do not hope you are not paying for any parts or his time in changing bits not required to fix the problem.
