Hi all,

Can anyone recommend a good engineer to repair a Vaillant Ecotec? It's locking out with an f.75 error. I know there a number of causes for this but I don't know any good engineers in the area.

Many thanks [/list]

Which end of Leicester?
If it's Northampton end then Bunnyman (Ian Rice Gastech Northampton) is your number 1 man.
If it's this end, we might be able to help.

Hi Lee,

It's LE2 so central Leicester. I used to work in Kingsthorpe Northampton and it was just under 30 miles via A5199, also working in Nottingham NG2 atm and that's around the same distance via A46. It's my parents house you see so I'm just trying to get it sorted

Did you finish your course??
Towns chaos at the mo because of the fire at student lounge.

Try Ian, he'll have all the bits as stock, is it a 937 that went in?

Just stuck it up in the CC as not sure if he comes into this bit.

Was recently in LE2 St peters/St James etc

Finishing in June mate, I'm at college today in fact, haven't seen much traffic as I'm in Basford. I'm working at the Nottigham Uni campus atm but have to park at Queens Drive.

Yes it's a 937, 6 years old. They've got it work by increasing the pressure slightly but there's obviously an underlying problem. Thanks for putting it up in the CC.

You wee working in Leicester recently? I offer you my deepest of sympathies

We're back on the uni next month and then up to Clifton campus, couple of mates are currently piping out the new but at BHC, last time I was speaking to them, they'd just started putting in the skids with the boilers on.

As you know, yours could well be pressure sensor/F75 kit or if it's 6 years old will have the original wilo pump set which you'll have done well not to have leak yet causing you an issue, canoe filter could possibly do with a clean out.

I'm working at the new library at the Park Campus opposite QMC. Yep we've been on a site visit to the BHC, from memory they are using Hamworthy Fleet modules. Got a few Flakt Recooler HPs as well!

Thanks for the help mate, I'll try get in touch with Ian
