vaillant turbomax plus 828e

hi having hot water problems with my vaillant turbomax boiler .heating works fine but hot water flows at only 4 liters a minute despite having good mains presure and goes from hot to cold all the time . i have recentley de scaled the heat exchanger and checked the hot water pipe from the excanger to the taps which is free from scale . could i have an obstuction in the aqua sensor . thanks jonny

For a start check the strainer and flow limiter in the inlet of the aqua sensor.

thanks i will have a look tomorrow jonny. the boilers about 8 years old and i live in a very hard water area have de scaled the boiler about 4 or 5 times since ive had it so it could be quite possible that the strainer could be blocked as the mesh seems very fine will let know how i get on .your help is very much aprecated thanks , jonny
