This boiler is locking out occassionally. The problem is the differential valve moving a little too slowly and not always opening the gas valve in time. I have stripped and cleaned the differential valve with initial success but now the problem is reoccurring. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks

The differential valve is operated via a hydraulic system involving the diverter valve, the servo valve and the pump. You need to understand the whole hydraulic system to identify where the fault lies. There is sometimes a very restrictive connection (banjo type) to the diverter valve which can slow the operation down a lot.
