Hi All,
First post on here, but have been reading for a while, sorry if this has been posted before but I couldn't find the responses.
I have just moved into a rented house which has a Valillant Boiler controlled via a VRT360 Thermostat. I have managed to set most of it up through the limited instructions in the manual but there are 2 things I cannot work out.
1 - Is there a way to set the thermostat to cut out once a desired temperature has been reached when the central heating is in timer mode. For example if the house reaches 20 degrees the boiler won't fire anymore - at the moment it keeps on climbing to the point where we need to then manually turn it to 'OFF'
2 - Is there a way to turn it on for a period of time between timer intervals. For example it is programed to come on in the morning and evening but the wife is at home with our new born daughter and would like to 'flick it on' for an hour or so during the day.
If anyone can help with these 2 issues it would be great and save me some earache - the instructions are not the best and the guys at Vaillant were somewhat in the dark themselves - which doesnt fill me with confidence...!
Many Thanks in Advance
