hi people,

i am going to be fitting a vaillant ecotec 28 pro, next week, and usually i fit a wireless stat/programmer with boiler eliminating electrician etc. i have been fitting alphas and worcester bosch and their wireless stat/programmers have been pretty simple to install and use, but i read that the wireless stat/programmer for vaillant (vrt360f) are a nightmare. what alternative do i have without having to get electrician and i don't have part p ????

Simple to install.

Use 4 or 5 core ;)

clf-gas...........have you used this stat with the boiler in question. if so do i use the wiring diagram for 230v application? also do i just remove the link between 3+4 on the boiler and connect sl(on) and sl(off)?....... if so does it matter whch one goes to which i.e sl(on) to number 3 and sl(off) to number 4 or other way around???

heres the boiler instructions if any one can clarify:
