Hi All,
Can anyone please point me in the right direction to what is wrong with my boiler. The boiler is about 10 years old and recently i noticed that when i have a shower for about 15 minutes the hot water is ok , but as soon as i turn off the hot water and try to put it back again. There is no hot water, the pilot light light does not come on, in fact no lights are on the boiler, apart from the green one to say there is power to the boiler.
If i wait about 5 minutes everything seems to be working again. The central works fine. I forgot to mention that when there is no hot water, i can manually reset the boiler by flicking the switch.
I don't want to be ripped off by gas engineers speculating what the problem is.
