Valiant VCW T3W (VCW-SINE...T3W) Parts Availability?

I have an old Valiant VCW T3W Combi Boiler on which a few months back the instant hot water facility on it failed after using my washing m/c with a heavy load. I can still get hot water at seemingly reduced pressure using the immersion tank hot water setting (im heating) and the radiators still work. The hot water pressure for the radiators does lose pressure over time presumably through the outside release valve as I see no leaks and has to be repressurised occasionally. Reading this forum suggests either a diaphragm or diverter valve needs replacing. I have a repair contract with AOS but they tell me they can't source the Valiant parts and don't seem have many engineers familiar with the unit. They seem instead more interested in flogging me a new boiler etc.
I am not sure I believe them about the parts so my question is a) are the parts available for this boiler and b) should they be able to fix it?

prv will need cleaning or replacing
expansion vessel needs a check.recharge or fit remote replacment
wax capsule on diverter may need replacing.
its fixable,worth keeping if operating safely ,for year or two,
while u save for replacement.
