Is it typical nowadays to fix valley boards cut to set between the rafters?
Or are the v. boards set in one piece lengths on either side of the valley?
I notice that it's recommended to set valley boards with GRP valleys - is this correct?

they are fixed betwixt the rafters and flush with the rafter top.

grp preformed valleys are widely used these days and a fairly decent alternative to lead.

they are very durable and flexible and are coloured in an unobtrusive grey.
