Valley Replacement Cost

Hello,

While replacing a flat roof, the chap replacing it noted that that valley above it needed replacing. The roof is corrugated tiles on a bungalow.

I've got a quote of ~£600 to remove and replace the fibreglass valley, including cutting and rebedding tiles and ridge tiles, labour, removal of all rubbish etc.

How does that price sound?

It sounds outrageous unless the valley is about 100 foot long.

Depends on access i.e. scaffold etc.

From the origonal post i assume there are no scafold or access issues as it is over a flat roof.

The quote did include supplying all scaffolding and plant as required.

I am a little unsure where it would go, as the valley drops into the corner of the flat roof, with the pitched roofs on 2 sides on the bungalow, so I am guessing it is a standard item on their quotes.
