Hi I'm new to this forum and hope someone can help!
Our boiler broke after a spell of switching on the CH for the first time. So for the past 10 days we've had no heating (and it also seems as if it's been the coldest it's been this year...) and hot water over the Xmas period (electric heaters and trips to the gym ...).
The plumber came round and fixed it just now (he replaced the transistor (and pump as it came with a new pump), but we neglected to check the hotwater. So now we have heating (yay) but no hot water (boo).
Reading through the forums here it could be a diagnostic setting? The boiler turns on when we turn on the hot water tap, but no hot water comes out. We've reset the boiler by pressing the reset button, but still nothing...
Just to let you know I am a complete DIY noob, so hope that it's just something we are missing.
