Valve Nuts stuck on Broken pump

you really need a spanner that fits the nuts.

stilsons and other pliers type actually jam as pressure is applied to the nut so jams up an already corroded valve nut.
if you need to buy tools its better to bet in a qualfied person.

Hammer and bolster on the pump valve nuts. Easy.
Bung the system or shut off gate valve type valves.

If you`ve ever used a blowtorch and are confident enough,then use one to heat the brass nut for a few minutes.It`ll slip off easily after that.

Don`t use your bare hands on it though.
