I am converting a single brick built shed into an office. I just need some advice on the order on the vapour barrier, so will try to keep this simple. Is this order correct?

1. Wall
2. Plastic sheet vapour barrier
3. Stud batons
4. Insulation boards in the stud gaps
5. Plasterboard

OR

1. Wall
2. Stud batons
3. Insulation boards in the stud gaps
4. Plastic sheet vapour barrier
5. Plasterboard

with the barrier directly behind the plasterboard.

If you do it the other way, warm moist air in the room will find it's way through the insulation to the cold vapour barrier where it will condense. After a few weeks/months, the insulation will be soaking wet with no way for it to dry. Mould and rot is then inevitable.

always found duplex plasterboard to be a lot better than using plastic sheeting as a vapour barrier

Thanks! Considering T&G boards instead of plasterboard now. Does the same principle still stand, plastic sheet vapour barrier, then the boards on top of that?
