I am looking for the next tape to use for sealing the joint between a VCL and the wall which is wood in some places and brick in other. The usual celotex jointing tape does not have the adhesion needed to stick to brick or wood. Only sticks to foil insulation board.

What do people do about sealing the joint between VCL and wall?

The previous tape I used which didn't adhere to wood or brick very well was celotex own branded tape.

Any chance of actually describing what it is?
Foil tape is usually the norm.

We have found the proprietary (all weather) membrane tape i.e. the one for sticking dpm flooring membrane laps together extremely sticky.
