vauxhall frontera b faulty wipers

iv a w 2000 frontera b 2.2dti. the problem i have is front wiper doesnot park in correct position. if you go to wash screen the wipers sweep twice but park 6inch up the screen. intermitant dosnot work. soonas you turn off the wipers they just stop and dont park. iv tested at wiper plug for a perm live to park, there is a live untill you plug the motor back on. allso if useing testlight there is a intermitant live but again if you plug in the motor the live stops. isit a fault on multitimer or motor issue? any help appreciated.

in this case a multimeter may not have enough time to react and give an immediate read out to you..

not sure i fully understood the question,, but wipers not parking is 9 times out of 10 the wiper relay at fualt.
