had 18000 mile service (first service) on my Vauxhall Vivaro 1.9. checked air filter before and after. Servicve book says it should be replaced but it wasnt.
Should I ask them to service it again

You should certainly mention it, if they can overlook something that should be changed, what was the rest of the service like?
Even if the service was free, they are still supposed to folllow the service schedule.
