vauxhall vivaro problem with elecric windows plus heater d

hi can anyone advise, just bought a 07 vauxhall vivaro 2 weeks ago, found the the cold to hot heater dial will only turn part way to hot and then stuck as though its jammed/blocked plus electric windows work and then don't work. Any ideas what the faults could be and if known faults- any suggestions appreciated
