Can anyone advise,

We bought a 13 plate vivaro from Vauxhall dealer in September.

We are having problems with it starting, it is taking on average 7 times each time to turn it over and start, on each attempt it turns over the rev counter goes up and then it dies!

We have had it in the garage at least 5 times for change of glow plugs, timer relay. I'm not what else, they don't seem to have a clue, on last occasion day after it was returned to us it died completely whilst out working, the lights etc worked but the dash was flashing up all sorts and it had to be jump started.

Since then it starts but with the usual problems, I'm sure it's doing the van no good at all.

Any ideas it's due back in the garage tomorrow and fed up of being fobbed off,

Thanks

The garage needs to check for fuel delivery issues - both at the fuel tank, which has a low pressure pump, and the injector pump which delivers fuel at very high pressure. I would imagine if it is the latter, the engine management lamp would be on.
If the engine tends to stall but then start again after a minute or two, that's another symptom.
John :)
