I've traced the reason the water is not pumping. The wire between the pump's switch and the pump being open circuit, so broken.
One end of the wire has a sleeve on so presumably a protection device of some sort that's blown.
I've contacted Ransom Spares to inquire about replacement wire but will likely draw a blank. Does any one know what the specification of the device on the wire should I be forced to make a new wire myself?
