I have an old Vaillant and it is sparking but not lighting . Think it might be the gas valve but not sure without the installation manual what to test for. Anyone know if the gas valve is 240v or any suggestions what else it might be? hasan

It could be many things on the vcw. Get a corgi guy with experience of these boilers to take a look at it.

I take it after trying to light the reset button pops out..usually suggest flame suppervision board at fault..... providing gas is actually on(would not be the first time)
