i have a vectra 1800 2000 plate,the drivers door window has come out of its guides/runners.can anyone please tell me the best way to get it all back in sync.thanks in anticipation.

I had a 98 Vectra and mine did the same, had to force it shut with my hand, eventually it just dropped into the door 
If you remove the door card and peel back the mebrane you should be able to access the lower parts. Spray all the channels and runners with silicone spray (available from halfrauds, b&q etc.).
You may find the plastic end of the regulator has come out of its channel, or might be worn completely. There should be a torx head bit on the right hand side, if you loosen this you should be able to adjust the window and get it to sit properly.
Periodically spray the channels with silicone to prevent it re-occuring.
