Just deciding where to put some velux Windows that I have already purchased from eBay.

I have two windows for a 5 meter x 3 meter room ... There will be one on the front which is north facing and one on the back which is south facing.

From a light / thermal point of view do I put the larger of the two windows on the south or north facing side ?

I would grab as much light and free sunlight as possible?
