Hi there

I'm currently having built a rear single story house extension about 5.5m x 3.3m with a pitched roof.
The architect put 3 velux windows in the roof drawing - there is a large french door of 2.7m and no other windows.
The extension is north/west facing.
Now the velux have arrived and my builder has started the roof he thinks 3 might be too many they are 78cmx118cm in size.
I'm not experienced enough to say one way or another so am wondering what other people opinions are on wether to have 2 or 3?

Regards

Personal choice really, it will be bright enough without any Velux's. Is the ceiling open or not?

If you only ever had two fitted and lived with them, you would not bat an eye.

If you had three fitted and lived with them then took one of them away, you would say "where has my light gone!"

As Fred has said - personal choice. Does make the builders job more difficult, Ho hum.

What is the pitch of the roof?
